Keeping a bowl of fruit out is great. It’s the first thing you’ll see when you wander into the kitchen. It’s also a great grab and go kind of food when you’re in a rush in the morning.
The more complex a dessert gets the more likely it has more sugar and fat added. For example, a scoop of ice cream versus an ice cream sunday. Keep it simple. Or better yet, have some fruit for a sweet and healthy end to your meal :]
Having a plan of what you’re going to do makes your workout more efficient. It also makes it more likely for you to get your butt to the gym and stick it through all the way.

The protein you eat does not go straight into your muscles. It must first be broken down into it’s amino acid components, which are then used to synthesize proteins for different bodily functions including muscle growth. Vitamin B6 helps break down dietary protein and convert them into amino acids.
You’ll notice that all the fresh produce in a supermarket are typically placed towards front and edges of the store. This is where you want to do the majority of your grocery shopping, rather than in the middle where all the dry foods and frozen foods are stored. Avoiding the middle will help you avoid those visual triggers that make you think you want to buy that pint of ice cream and eat it immediately.
Nitrogen balance indicates protein levels in the body. A positive nitrogen balance is a good thing and is indicative of tissue rebuilding and muscle repair. A negative nitrogen balance is bad and means that protein is being excreted from the body rather than being used. In other words, even if you’re working out, building lean muscle mass becomes completely inefficient if you don’t eat properly.
Haha that’s really sweet, thanks. I’m glad I’m back too :]
Exercise volume is Sets x Repetitions x Resistance. There is more than one way to increase your strength than by going up 5 pounds. You can do one more set, you can add extra repetitions, etc. Your strength will increase as your exercise volume increases.
You don’t want to fatigue the smaller muscles that support activity of larger muscles before you get started on large muscle group exercises.
There are plenty of ways to make vegetables taste better. Try finding different ways to season them to taste the way you like. If that still doesn’t work you can always hide your vegetables in other things like the sneaky chef does. Check out www.thesneakychef.com
Growth hormone helps rebuild your muscles. It peaks after 1 hour of sleep so make sure you get a good nights sleep, especially after a day you worked out really hard.
Haha thank you that’s super sweet of you :p
It’s easy to lose sight of your long term goals. Keep your focus by making each and every day count :]
